Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Petro Vista Energy Corp., is an independent exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas properties located in South America. The Company has exploration, development and production rights or options to acquire such rights to over 727,031 gross acres (197,697 net) leasehold acres in Brazil and Colombia. The Company's goal is to build an upstream oil and gas company with exploration and production focused in the highest resource potential and commercially attractive countries in South America.
Two successful wells in March and April 2010 in both Colombia and Brazil have planned follow up development wells for production and additional exploration targets.

Brazil
The Company holds working interests in two onshore exploration blocks located in the Recôncavo Basin on Brazil's east coast situated adjacent to the large Miranga Oil Field (Petrobras) having over 814 MMBOE in place, and the Carmopolis Oil Field with over 528 MMBOE.
Additionally, the Company holds an option to acquire a 37.5% working interest (27.3% net revenue interest) in the shallow offshore and producing oil concession Block SES-107D ("Tartaruga Block"). The acquisition of the working interest is subject to completion of Petro Vista's farmout obligations and the receipt of all necessary approvals including the approval of the ANP to the assignment of the working interest. This block is situated on Brazil's east coast situated adjacent to the large Miranga Oil Field (Petrobras) having over 814 MMBOE in place, and the Carmopolis Oil Field with over 528 MMBOE.
Colombia
Petro Vista has exploration agreements in four hydrocarbon-rich properties in the Llanos and Rio Magdalena Basins in Colombia. These prolific basins are characterized as having large blocks, multiple high-productivity reservoir targets and large-structure prospects. A series of near-term drilling and completion programs are being carried out in these areas in 2011.
